|
Mom’s Notes presentations have been written by Joey and Carla Link to give practical application to the biblical principles learned in the GFI parenting curriculum, Along the Virtuous Way (formerly Growing Kids God’s Way).
The 40 presentations that comprise the Mom’s Notes give detailed explanation and suggestions on how the principles in AVW/GKGW can be used at each stage of a child’s growth and maturing process. The presentations have been titled, ‘Mom’s Notes’ as they were taped for the most part while Carla Link was sharing with Mom’s groups across America. Joey joins Carla on several of the presentations. Dads will find the presentations as beneficial as their wives, and we encourage you to go through them together.
CDs and Notes come in 5 volumes. Each volume contains 8 presentations. Some of the presentations can be purchased as volumes, individually, or in 2 or 3-part series. When purchased in a volume, the presentations (both audio and written notes) come in attractive binders. The presentations are around 70 minutes in length and the notes average 10-12 pages.
The Mom’s Notes are intended for those parents who have completed the GFI parenting course, Along the Virtuous Way (GKGW). Without the foundation of that curriculum, the teaching and notes can easily be taken out of context.

About Joey and Carla
Parent educators Joey and Carla Link have partnered with Growing Families International since 1994. They serve on the GFI National Ministry staff. Prior to that, Joey served for 16 years on pastoral staffs in the area of youth and family ministries. Carla’s background is in social work. Together they bring a unique blend of biblical teaching and practical application to parents desiring to raise obedient, respectful, and responsible children and teens.
Joey and Carla write and produce the Mom’s Notes presentations and are frequent speakers at marriage and parenting conferences throughout the United States of America. They also co-teach parenting conferences with Gary and Anne Marie Ezzo, founders of Growing Families International. They are the parents of three children; Michael (married), Briana (19) and Amy (17).
Joey and Carla Link oversee J & C Ministries, LLC. J & C Ministries makes available for purchase the Mom’s Notes presentations to families who have completed the Growing Families International parenting curricula. Growing Families Australia have been given full rights to publish and distribute Mom's Notes in Australia, highly recommend this very practical series.
