Welcome to Growing Families Tasmania
Introducing your State Representatives:
Martin and Louise Filleul have just begun their role as State Reps in March 2007. They have been very happily married since 1998 and will be celebrating their 9th anniversary in August. They are blessed with two children – a beautiful little girl, Asha (3yrs) and a very smiley boy, Jayden (20mths), and are expecting their third child in June this year.
Although Martin was born in Canada to Tasmanian parents, both he and Louise were raised in Tasmania and have a passion for families in their home state. Since moving from Hobart to Launceston in 1998, they have served joyfully in their local church at Legana and have been involved in various family ministries there for the last 8 years. Once introduced to GFA resources, they began to develop a dream of sharing their family experiences with others and have taken on the role of State Reps with much excitement and expectation. They are looking forward to learning how they can most effectively communicate vital life lessons to families, equipping them with tools for growth that develop firm loving relationships in their own homes.
Martin is self-employed and enjoys a variety of jobs ranging from diving to surveying, while Louise is a full-time mum at home on 3 ½ acres located on the West Tamar region of Northern Tasmania. They have a committed attitude to the growing families call – reaching one family at a time across our great nation and around the world in God’s strength and by His grace.
