Welcome!
We pray that God will richly bless you and your families this year as you follow Him. We had a lovely break over Christmas, spending 10 days at the beach with some great beach weather. We were pleased to have Joan Grosser in Adelaide for a few days in January and it is always great to catch up with her. Bill celebrated his 70th birthday last month also, with a picnic with many Growing Families WA families in attendance.
Ian and Lyn Williams (NSW State Reps) are now travelling “on the road” full-time and are very happy to meet and encourage any families on their travels. They have the GFA logo on the back of the van promoting GFA as they go.
Whatever your involvement with Growing Families this year we pray your families will be salt and light in the world. Please contact us if you have any questions about Growing Families.

From SA:
A family were coming to the end of Growing Kids Gods Way and their very active 2 year old needed some medical tests. They were unsure how he would go sitting still for an hour or so and thought he may have to be sedated. However, they had been teaching him “quiet hands” and he was able to sit still while all the tests were performed. They even received thanks from the medical staff as it had been so easy.

David and Charissa Scotford
The Scotfords are still busily working on the new project announced at the Conference last year. This is tentatively titled “The Gift” series. They are planning on going to Melbourne mid-year for a fund-raising event and they will be “on the road” during August/September as they travel around Australia filming families to be on the DVD. Please pray as to how you can help them as they further the ministry of Growing Families Australia.
Les, Sheree and Kylie Hobbs - Zimbabwe
Kylie Hobbs has been accepted into Uni WA and will be arriving in Australia this month. Please pray for her and her family in this time of transition and change. Kylie is in Australia to study so she can then go back to her native Zimbabwe to help the nation rebuild.
Facilitators
If you are facilitating any courses this year please make sure to ask your class members if they would like to be added to our mailing list to receive State and National newsletters. This helps them to gain a better understanding of the wider GFA community to be connected. Please pass their email details on to the office and we will add them to the respective database.
Toddler DVDs
The new, much awaited, Toddler DVDs are nearly here. Part 1 should be available early April and Part 2 in the middle of the year. Keep your eye on the website and also in the newsletters for when they are ready Part 1 is called “Babyhood Transitions” and Part 2 Preparation for the Toddler Years
Course Names
We are in the process of reverting back to the original names for all the courses and the workbooks will have a “new” look in the next couple of months. We appreciate your prayers for wisdom and good time management as we change everything over.
Office Staff
We are very happy to let you know we have appointed Nicky Rawlings as a new office staff member who will be working with us 1 day a week starting in April. We are very thankful to God that He has provided so well for us. We are still looking for someone who is able to help out on an irregular basis as a back-up office person. We are particularly looking for someone who could help out during some school holidays. Please contact us if that is you.
